Continue a ler!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Conhecer o planeta Terra e o sistema solar atrav\u00e9s da geoqu\u00edmica<\/h2>\n<p>Remontando-nos ao in\u00edcio da geoqu\u00edmica, o termo foi utilizado pela primeira vez por um qu\u00edmico sui\u00e7o chamado Sch\u00f6bein em 1838, e etimologicamente ao analisarmos a palavra vemos claramente que \u00e9 uma uni\u00e3o de geologia e qu\u00edmica. Mas, qual \u00e9 a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre estas duas ci\u00eancias? Como se combinam entre si? Podemos dizer que <strong>a geoqu\u00edmica utiliza as ferramentas da qu\u00edmica para resolver problemas derivados da geologia<\/strong>. Por outras palavras, <strong>os ge\u00f3logos utilizam a qu\u00edmica para explicar o funcionamento da Terra.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Terra forma parte do sistema solar, uma fam\u00edlia de corpos celestes que se formaram simultaneamente, por isso entre eles existem muitas semelhan\u00e7as. \u00c9 nesse sentido, que <strong>a geoqu\u00edmica tamb\u00e9m inclui o estudo do sistema solar e dos planetas <\/strong>que o formam.<\/p>\n<p>Ainda que profissionais da geologia e da qu\u00edmica tenham muitos aspetos em comum, os seus objetos cient\u00edficos s\u00e3o muito diferentes. Apesar de que os objetivos de um geoqu\u00edmico n\u00e3o sejam necessariamente ter de explicar ou esclarecer a natureza das liga\u00e7\u00f5es qu\u00edmicas e sintetizar novos compostos, estes <strong>estudos s\u00e3o de interesse e utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o para a geoqu\u00edmica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Podemos dizer que a geoqu\u00edmica \u00e9 uma ci\u00eancia que inclui tantos campos diferentes que o mais comum \u00e9 que <strong>um geoqu\u00edmico se especialize em alguma \u00e1rea<\/strong> que comp\u00f5e esta ci\u00eancia, por exemplo, na qu\u00edmica da atmosfera, na termodin\u00e2mica geoqu\u00edmica ou na geoqu\u00edmica isot\u00f3pica, entre outras.<\/p>\n<p>A geoqu\u00edmica \u00e9 uma <strong>disciplina relativamente nova<\/strong>, visto que o seu desenvolvimento teve lugar na segunda metade do s\u00e9culo XX. Durante os \u00faltimos 50 anos cheg\u00e1mos a um conhecimento da Terra e do sistema solar muito superior ao que existia, por exemplo, h\u00e1 75 anos. Este conhecimento atual, procede em grande parte da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o geoqu\u00edmica dos meteoritos.<\/p>\n<p>Atrav\u00e9s da geoqu\u00edmica foi poss\u00edvel calcular a <strong>escala de tempo geol\u00f3gico<\/strong>, determinar a temperatura e profundidade dos magmas terrestres ou a velocidade do levantamento e eros\u00e3o das cadeias montanhosas, entre outros avan\u00e7os. Em concreto, as evid\u00eancias de vida em Marte s\u00e3o em parte qu\u00edmicas, por esse motivo, n\u00e3o \u00e9 de estranhar que as sondas enviadas a outros planetas, levem consigo ferramentas de <strong>an\u00e1lise qu\u00edmica de materiais geol\u00f3gicos<\/strong>. A geoqu\u00edmica tamb\u00e9m toma partido das disciplinas relacionadas com o <strong>ambiente<\/strong>. Quest\u00f5es como a chuva \u00e1cida, o buraco de ozono, o efeito estufa ou o aquecimento global e polui\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1gua, s\u00e3o mat\u00e9rias de estudo para a geoqu\u00edmica. De igual forma, alguns recursos n\u00e3o renov\u00e1veis, como o carv\u00e3o ou o petr\u00f3leo, que se formam atrav\u00e9s de processos geoqu\u00edmicos.<\/p>\n<h2>Os modelos geoqu\u00edmicos<\/h2>\n<p>Podemos distinguir dois modelos dentro da geoqu\u00edmica, que explicam a estrutura e a composi\u00e7\u00e3o da Terra.<\/p>\n<h3>Modelo geoqu\u00edmico<\/h3>\n<p>Divide a Terra em camadas conc\u00eantricas baseando-se na sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o: superior e inferior, referindo-se \u00e0 <strong>crosta e manto<\/strong>, e externo e interno ao <strong>n\u00facleo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Modelo geodin\u00e2mico<\/h3>\n<p>Para este modelo \u00e9 preciso ter em conta o\u00a0<strong>estado din\u00e2mico e f\u00edsico das camadas terrestres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Litosfera<\/strong>. Encontra-se na camada superficial e o seu comportamento \u00e9 r\u00edgido, possui uma espessura de 100km. Nesta zona encontra-se a crosta do manto litosf\u00e9rico.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Astenosfera<\/strong>. De uns 100 a 250 km de profundidade, encontramos as zonas de comportamento pl\u00e1stico, compostas por materiais parcialmente fundidos. Nesta zona criam-se correntes de convec\u00e7\u00e3o que criam a din\u00e2mica da litosfera.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mesosfera<\/strong>. Entre os 250 e os 2700 km, encontram-se as zonas de correntes de convec\u00e7\u00e3o, plumas e plumas t\u00e9rmicas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Endosfera<\/strong>. Coincide com o n\u00facleo do modelo geoqu\u00edmico.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>As contribui\u00e7\u00f5es da geoqu\u00edmica<\/h2>\n<p>Podemos mencionar outras duas \u00e1reas: o <strong>conhecimento geol\u00f3gico da Terra e a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de elementos qu\u00edmicos<\/strong>.
