Prof Nazem is also a well- recognised researcher in Civil and Geotechnical engineering, particularly in the area of computational mechanics and geomechanics, as well as artificial intelligence. He has over thirty years of experience in developing software packages in civil engineering using languages such as Fortran, C++ and Python.
